Church Matters: Magnify Him

Aim: To see that our primary purpose as Christians, and as the Church, is to magnify God (Psalm 34; Luke 1:46-55)

Hebrews 10:1-25

Aim: To see that Pentecost marked the birth of Christ’s Church as a new ‘Temple’ was established (Acts 1:1-14; 2:1-41)

Aim: To understand what the Bible tells us about structure and governance of the Church (Acts 6:1-7; 1 Peter 5:1-11)

Aim: To ask ourselves if we are doing all we can to build God’s kingdom here in Corringham (Acts 2:42-47; Ephesians 4:1-16)

Aim: To see the salvation offered by Jesus through the story of Zacchaeus (Luke 19:1-10)

Aim: To see that we should be expectantly awaiting Jesus’ return ensuring we are ready for the day (Revelation 21:9-22:21)

Aim: To see that God will make ALL things new at the return of Christ (Revelation 21)

Aim: To consider the meaning of the events of Revelation 20 (Revelation 20:1-15)
